RocketMatter Interview with Larry Port
Larry Port, Co-Founder of RocketMatter, spent some time speaking with us at the ABA Techshow. We discussed SaaS (software as a service) and his new case management offering, RocketMatter. Larry filled us in on some of the thought processes behind the designn of RocketMatter, what RocketMatter can do for your practice and what kind of steps RocketMatter takes to ensure the safety and recoverability of your data.
Fujitsu S1500 Demonstration by Derek Flower
Derek Flower of Fujitsu USA gave us a demonstration (see below) of the new ScanSnap S1500. The S1500 is faster and easier to use than the previous S510model it is designed to replace for the same price. The only difference between the S1500(PC) and S1500m (Mac) will be the bundled software. Just as with the previous S510 and S510m, the Windows version will come with Adobe Acrobat Standard 9.0 and the Mac version will come with Adobe Acrobat Pro 8.0. Seeing as we prefer Acrobat 8.0 over 9.0, we think this suits us just fine. We hope to get a review unit of the S1500 soon so that we can answer all of your questions regarding this successor to the most successful personal scanner we have ever had the pleasure of using.
