Thanks for the vid. I too however would like to know where you got your version of ScanSnap Manager as the one you link to is different (ugly) and has no OCR settings.

I solved my problem. After clicking on the link in my own comment I noticed the words “Quick Menu Mode” at the top of the screenshot–I hadn't followed your instructions to turn off the Quick Menu first. So I now have access to the profile feature. Even better, Fujitsu must have watched your screencast because they built in a number of nifty profiles, as you can see here (I added Aperture but the rest came a preset profiles):

I have updated to the latest version (ScanSnap_V22L12_S510M_S500M_S300M.dmg), but for some reason my interace looks different from yours:

As you can see from the screenshot, it doesn't have the profile pulldown menu at the top. The icon in my dock is even looks different (and less slick):

Where did you get your nifty version of this scansnap manager? And what does it say in your About pane?
