U.S. Code for iPad

Every attorney has heard about the iPad by now and if there is one question I’ve been asked most is how do I use it in my practice. Most people are shocked to find out that I use my iPad for legal work more than for pleasure. Unlike the iPhone, where there are some apps that benefit lawyers but aren’t necessarily created for lawyers, the iPad has been getting apps specifically geared towards lawyers almost weekly. Probably the two greatest are U.S. Code for iPad and FastCase.

We will give a review of FastCase in a few days on our branch-off site, MacEsq.com, in the next few days but U.S. Code doesn’t really need that much explanation as it simply provides the U.S. Code in its entirety. It provides full offline access to the entire U.S. Code so you can search all federal statutes by keyword or citation even when offline. You can even bookmark cites for future reference which is handy given the shear breadth of the information available in this app. This isn’t the most up to date version of the U.S. Code, but is still well worth the price…FREE.

I don't see the Fastcase iPad app. Just the iPhone one.

They are about to release it and it should have been by the time the article posted. The iPhone version works fine on the iPad however.
